What to do in Provo:

Explore the beaches

The main draw to the Turks and Caicos Islands are the unparalleled beaches. The unforgettable 12-mile Grace Bay beach is the most popular location for most tourism infrastructure. All of the beaches are free and public.

Boat Cruise

Take a boat cruise to the Caicos cays, between Providenciales and North Caicos. Excursions are usually half or full day activity.

Spend a day on North or Middle Caicos – Even though these are islands are less developed than Providenciales, they are great for an adventure. You may tour Mudjin Harbour, Conch Bar Caves or the Old Plantation. The main way of transport to these islands is by passenger ferry a 35 – 40 minute travel time for $50.00 returned.

Parasail

Parasail over the famous Grace Bay gliding at 200 feet in the air. What an amazing way to experience a bird eye’s view of Grace Bay beach, resorts and barrier reefs.

Snorkel the Reefs

Snorkeling is one of the most recommended activities on Providenciales. The reefs are amazing with abundance of sea animals and beautiful coral walls. The Bight Reef and Smith Reef are the two main sites accessible from the beach. Snorkeling on a boat cruise can be a much better experience. Some of the best sites are off the North coast.

Paddle Board/Kayaking

Paddle board or kayak in wetlands the best want to experience the mangrove, wetlands, shallow waters and wildlife in the waters.

Diving

You cannot leave and not explore the many beautiful reefs. If you are not a certified diver many of the dive shops offers open water DSD course.

Visit Chalk Sound

Chalk Sound has the most incredible turquoise water. Some of the most vibrant waters you will see anywhere. However, due to the many homes and villas in Chalk Sound it is quite difficult to find the perfect viewing spot.
